Spirit & truth worship

Is it truly in man to worship God, whom he can’t see, in Spirit and in Truth? The Scriptures say that God is seeking such to worship Him. They don’t really reveal however, that He found anyone who fits that description. I think the only possibility to obtain this kind of Spirit and Truth worship, is if we draw near to God, and allow Him to draw near to us. We may then come close to this God-desired worship.  God does not yet have the church that He desires, nor has He the church that He said He would have. But if there will ever be anyone who receives exactly what He says, it will be God. The Holy Spirit is working diligently to accomplish exactly what the Father has said. Jesus said the church would be victorious, so much so, that the gates of hell would not prevail against it.

Paul said, in Philippians 3:10 Amplified Bible this very powerful statement. “[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power out flowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope] that if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me out from among the dead [even while in the body].

Paul said that it was his determined purpose to know Him. He gave up everything to know Christ in the power of His resurrection. This was an ongoing process as we can see from the words used here in this Scripture. Such words as progressively, means it will take some time to become intimately acquainted with our powerful God. The only way the church will ever become what the Father God said it would, is for the church to have living contact with God Himself.
